1xCasino Is It Down
A status board with a real timestamp, a New Zealand outage log, the error codes worth recognising, and a sixty-second check that tells you whether the fault is the platform, your ISP or your own account.

This board reflects a manual check by our editorial team on the date shown, not a continuous monitor. We do not have privileged access to the operator's infrastructure and we will not pretend otherwise — for a reading from your own device right now, use the diagnostic below.
What Happens to Your Bet When It Drops Out
This is the question that actually matters when the screen freezes mid-spin, and the answer is reassuring. Slot outcomes are decided on the game server, not in your browser. Once a spin is submitted the result exists whether or not your device ever renders it, and the balance change is stored against your account. Log back in and you will see where you actually stand — occasionally a pleasant surprise.
A round that never reached the server is simply void and the stake is not taken. A round that reached the server but was interrupted before you saw the result is either restored when you reopen the game — most suppliers reload an unfinished round automatically — or settled and reflected in the balance. Live dealer tables work differently: bets placed before the round closes stand, and a disconnection does not entitle you to a refund on a hand that played out without you.
Deposits caught mid-outage are the genuinely stressful case. Money leaves your bank, the cashier never confirms, and the balance does not move. Take a screenshot of your banking app showing the debit and note the time, then wait. These almost always reconcile automatically within a few hours as the processor settles. If it has not resolved after 24 hours, contact live chat with the timestamp and the amount. The payments page explains which descriptor to look for on your statement.
The 60-Second Diagnostic
Runs entirely in your browser and tells you whether your own device and connection are healthy. If everything here passes and the casino still will not load, the fault is not at your end.
Nothing has run yet. Press the button above.
Then, if the checks pass and it is still broken:
1. Open the casino in a private window. If it works there, a stale cookie is the culprit — clear site data and log in again.
2. Switch networks. Home broadband to mobile data, or the reverse. A fault that follows you across both is not your ISP.
3. Turn off any VPN or ad blocker. Both cause more casino connection problems than they solve.
4. Try a different browser. A stuck service worker survives a cache clear more often than people expect.
Fix It by Symptom
Page never loads, spins forever
Almost always DNS or a route. Switch to mobile data — if it loads there, your home ISP is the problem. Changing your device's DNS to a public resolver fixes a surprising share of these.
Loads, but login fails silently
A stale session cookie. Open a private window; if login works there, clear site data in your normal browser and try again.
Games list loads, individual games do not
The game supplier's servers rather than the casino. Try a title from a different provider — if that one runs, wait it out, there is nothing to fix at your end.
Cashier will not open
Often an ad blocker eating the payment iframe. Disable it for the site. If the cashier opens but a deposit fails, it is a payment problem instead — see declined payments.
Live dealer stutters, slots are fine
Bandwidth. Live tables stream video and need a stable few megabits; slots need almost nothing. Drop the stream quality or move closer to the router.
Works on the phone, not the laptop
A browser extension or a stuck service worker. Try a different browser entirely before you spend time debugging the first one.
Error Codes Worth Recognising
| Code | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 403 | Access refused at the edge — geo rule, VPN endpoint or a security filter. | Turn off the VPN, change network, retry. |
| 502 / 504 | The front end is up but the application behind it is not responding. | Genuinely their end. Wait 10–15 minutes. |
| 503 | Maintenance or overload. Frequently planned. | Check back in half an hour. |
| 401 / session expired | Your login token is stale or was invalidated elsewhere. | Log out fully, clear site cookies, log in again. |
| Game launch failed | A single supplier's servers, not the casino. | Try a game from another provider. |
| Payment declined | Refused by your bank, not the platform. | Check for a gambling block — see the payments page. |
| Account restricted | A compliance hold. Not an outage at all. | Live chat. Have your verification documents ready. |
Outage Log — New Zealand
Disruptions noticeable from New Zealand, recorded as we or readers observed them. Times are NZT. This is an observational log, not an operator status feed.
Cashier iframe failed to load for roughly 40 minutes from about 4pm. Game play unaffected; deposits queued and settled afterwards.
Announced maintenance window, about 90 minutes overnight NZT. Everything returned as scheduled.
Site unreachable for around two hours during the evening. Reports from several countries at once, so upstream rather than New Zealand-specific. Interrupted spins reconciled correctly on reconnect.
One live dealer supplier's tables offline for most of an evening. Slots and the rest of the live lobby ran normally.
Elevated 403 responses for players on one New Zealand ISP. Cleared within hours and looked like a routing or edge rule rather than a platform fault.
The four components worth checking before you conclude the site is down
Log maintained by this site's editorial team and updated as incidents are observed or reported. Send us nothing sensitive — a date, a time and a symptom is all we can use.
What Players Reported
"Dropped out halfway through a bonus round and I assumed I'd lost the lot. Logged back in an hour later and the win was sitting there. Genuinely relieved."
Tauranga
"Kept getting 403 on the home wifi, worked instantly on mobile data. Turned out to be my ISP. Nothing to do with them at all."
Dunedin
"Deposit went out of my account and nothing showed up. Panicked, screenshotted everything, and it landed about three hours later on its own."
Auckland
